In e-commerce, most brands obsess over the pre-purchase journey: ads, landing pages, checkout flow. But one of the most overlooked growth levers happens after the sale. That’s where Encore by Yaw AI Shopping comes in.

Encore transforms the thank-you page into a powerful revenue engine. Using AI to surface highly relevant product offers right after checkout, it helps brands capture buyers when they’re still in a shopping mindset. For operators, that means more conversions, new high-intent customers, and measurable growth, with zero upfront cost.

We sat down with Lyndsey Fish, co-founder of YAW, to talk about how the tool works, why most brands are underestimating their post-purchase potential, and the biggest lessons she’s learned building in this space.

For someone who’s never heard of Encore, how do you describe it?

Encore by Yaw is a post-purchase offers platform that transforms the thank-you page into a powerful revenue engine. Seamlessly integrating with Shopify stores, Encore uses AI to match and display highly relevant product offers immediately after checkout when customers are still in a buying mindset. It empowers brands to reach new, high-intent audiences with zero upfront cost, providing real-time tracking of click-throughs, conversions, and placements. With full control over targeting and easy plug-and-play catalog setup, Encore turns existing checkout momentum into measurable growth.

When did you realize this was a big enough problem that you needed to solve it?

Having seen firsthand how most post-purchase platforms operate, we recognized a clear opportunity to make this landscape far more effective and efficient. With Encore, we designed a solution that removes friction and delivers greater impact for brands with the lowest barrier to entry in the market.

What do you think most brands get wrong about post-purchase opportunities?

Many brands overlook the untapped potential of their thank-you pages. While featuring another brand’s offer may seem counterintuitive at first, creating a reciprocal exchange with companies targeting the same audience unlocks a scalable, high-impact revenue channel, with zero upfront cost.

How did your own background lead you to building Encore?

Drawing on deep experience across both the brand and agency sides of affiliate, and having worked with post-purchase platforms before, I saw a clear opportunity to create something different. With Encore, we set out to build the most seamless, low-barrier solution in the market, making it effortless for brands to work with us.

What’s usually the first feature that gets customers excited?

Our ability to get their brand in front of thousands of potential net-new customers with high purchase intent.

There are other post-purchase tools out there — what makes Encore different?

No complex tagging or heavy tech lift required: Encore integrates seamlessly and tracks performance directly within your existing affiliate network. Best of all, there’s no upfront budget needed. Our product and offer matching, AI-driven tool, ensures there is never any competitive overlap.

What’s a shift happening in the affiliate or post-purchase space that more brands should be paying attention to?

Affiliate marketing has evolved far beyond low-quality coupon sites. Instead of brands competing for attention within the crowded Google ecosystem, strategic partnerships now allow you to reach and convert audiences more effectively, without overspending.

What’s a hard lesson you learned while building Encore?

One of the biggest lessons I learned the hard way is that moving fast only works if you’re also aligned. Early on, we sprinted to build partnerships and features without making sure every stakeholder understood the “why” behind each decision. That led to wasted cycles and missed opportunities.

If you could go back to Day 1 of building Encore, what would you do differently?

We would have built Encore by Yaw much faster!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Focus on what you can control, take consistent action, and treat people well.
